After another terrific breakfast made by Yoshiko, Johnny took us to Akihabara—huge shopping area for all things electronic.

Johnny also got us some chestnuts. Lots of walking around the many streets offering all kinds of electronic stuff.

We made the only concession for fast food that we were going to allow ourselves on this trip—McDonald’s in Japan has teriyaki burgers.

Johnny dropped us off at Roppongi. We were trying to get up in one of the towers so that we could take pictures of the city—which apparently sports a great view of the Tokyo Tower, too. We went up one building, just to find that it was all closed up. Well—it was Sunday—so—no surprise there. We went back down and had some coffee and just rested our feet a week bit. We didn’t realize there was another tower that was open to the public on weekends. We walked around a bit more and then hopped on the bus and headed back to Shibuya.

Johnny took us and Yoshiko-san out to a yakitori restaurant (yakitori means grilled chicken). It was WONderful!!!
